About this piece

The wide base on this chamberstick gives it a particular presence, solid, stable, and generous in proportion. The candle lever, which would typically be used to push the candle up as it burned down, is missing, but the piece remains fully functional as a candle holder and is priced to reflect this. A handsome piece with a warm, deep patina.

Care & display

Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. Polish occasionally with a brass cleaner if desired, though the natural patina that develops with age is part of the piece’s character and many prefer to leave it. Keep dry between uses.
