About this piece

Cookrite stoneware was produced for the working American kitchen, practical, durable, and unpretentious. These shallow bowls were used for everything from mixing to serving, and their simple, honest form has aged beautifully. A piece that looks as at home on a table today as it did a century ago.

Condition

Good antique condition. Shows natural age-related patina and wear consistent with decades of kitchen use. No chips or cracks.

Care & display

Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water. Not suitable for dishwasher or microwave. Handle with care, old ceramics are more fragile than modern pieces. Display on open shelving or a kitchen counter where the character of the piece can be appreciated.
