Description
A pitcher in hand-hammered green glass, sized for water, juice, or wildflowers gathered from the garden.
Dimensions: 9" H x 6" W x 4.5" Dia opening x 3.5" Dia base. Glass.
Why it's here
A pitcher is one of the few pieces of glassware that earns its keep in three places at once: on the table at dinner, in the fridge between meals, and on a sideboard with flowers in it when it's not doing either of those things. A good one is worth owning.
This one is short, broad, and steady on a table. The hammered finish catches light unevenly across the surface, the way old hand-blown glass does — a softness that smooth, factory-pressed glass can't match. The green is a quiet color we associate with the timeless glassware of rural homes, pieces that were chosen because they looked right on a table and stayed in use for generations. Designed in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, by a small studio drawing on classic rural design and the colors that show up in nature.
What you're getting
A green glass pitcher, 9" tall and 6" across at the base, with a 4.5" diameter opening generous enough to fit a bunch of cut flowers or a handful of ice. The tinted green is in the glass itself, so it won't fade or chip. The hammered texture is consistent throughout the body.
Sold individually.
Care: Hand wash recommended. Dishwasher safe on the top rack if you're careful, though hand washing will preserve the finish longer.
