Description
A pouring jug shaped like a hare — long ears, alert posture, the field at first light. A good all-purpose jug for the table — milk, cream, syrup, sauce.
Handle on the back, mouth at the front; the whole thing tips clean and pours straight.
Dimensions: Approx. 7" H x 6" W
Why it's here: Quail Ceramics has been part of our co-owner Tom's life from the very beginning — they're designed in Stoke-on-Trent, the English pottery town where he grew up. Every piece is hand-painted, and none of them are made just to look at: they're all built around a job — a salt shaker, a jug, a pencil pot, a vase, an egg cup. Quail is our favorite easy way to bring a little rural whimsy into a room. A hare on the table — that small pop of personality on an otherwise ordinary surface is exactly the point.
What you're getting: One hand-painted hare jug.
Care: Hand-painted stoneware. Dishwasher safe; we'd still recommend the top rack and a gentle cycle for the long-term life of the painted detail. Not suitable for microwave or oven use.
