Why it's here

Block printing is one of the oldest methods of putting pattern onto cloth, predating the printing press by centuries. Carved wooden blocks, dipped in dye, pressed by hand. The patterns have a softness that machine printing can't quite replicate. Slight registration shifts, varying ink density, small variations that catch the light differently across the surface. These aren't flaws — they're the hand of the maker, still visible.

Designed in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, by a small studio drawing on classic, timeless rural design and the wildflowers that bloom along Pennsylvania farm roads in late summer. The mustard floral is small enough to read as texture from across a room, and detailed enough to reward a closer look.

Care: Spot clean or hand wash cold and air dry. As with all block-printed textiles, the dye may soften slightly over time. This is part of how they age.
