Our Homestedt range of seasonal candles — hand-poured into a rocks glass, fragranced with essential oils, and inspired by the four seasons in the Catskills. A way to bring the mountains into the home wherever home happens to be.

Each season has its own blend:

• Fall — amber, smoke, balsam & spice
• Winter — pine, balsam fir, cardamom & pepper
• Spring — Damask rose, smoky oud & clove
• Summer — bergamot & coriander

Dimensions: 11oz. Approx. 3.25" diameter x 3.5" tall. 100% soy wax, hand poured. Up to 64 hours of burn time.

Why it's here: The seasons are one of the defining features of life in the countryside — a calendar marker for the different phases of the year, and because so much of life out here is connected to the outdoors, they shape daily life in a pronounced way. Each of these candles is inspired by and celebrates the stark contrasts between each season in the mountains. Lighting one becomes a small ritual that carries the change of season from the outside into the home.

The candles are poured into a rocks glass for a reason. Once the wax is burned through and the glass is cleaned out, the glass keeps going — less waste, and an invitation to a different but equally enjoyable country ritual: a small nip of whisky on a cool evening.

What you're getting: One hand-poured 100% soy wax candle in a reusable rocks glass, in your choice of Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer scent. Up to 64 hours of burn time.

Care: Trim the wick to about a quarter-inch before each light for a clean, even burn. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Once the wax is finished, the rocks glass cleans up easily with warm soapy water — ready for its second life.
