Description

A classic sweater made in England from 100% Lancashire wool and inspired by military and hunting styles. Features heavy wool and suede shoulder patches.

Sourced direct from a small family run mill in England. These sweaters are heavyweight and built to deliver exceptional warmth for a lifetime. And we should know, we've had our first one of these sweaters for over ten years. Each sweater is made from between one to two and a half pounds of wool in each sweater (depending on size and style) - ensuring warmth in the harshest of winters.

Unisex sizing

We've had sweaters from this same mill for over 10 years, and this is how we did it:

  1. They can be machine washed, just use a setting for wool wash, delicates or hand wash and do not exceed 30 degrees.
  2. Hand washing is preferred, just use warm water and a mild detergent.
  3. To keep the wool at its best mix a few drops of baby oil in with the water.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and lay out flat for drying.


SIZING

These fit large, for a sungger fit generally go one size down. For a baggy fit stay true to size. Note due to the nature of the weave in the wool, they also have a good amount of stretch/give in them.

Male model is 5ft 9 and is wearing a size small, female model is 5ft 7 and wearing and extra small. 

Arm measured shoulder to cuff. 
Length measured from back collar to hem.
Chest: Measured armpit to armpit.

Care instructions:

Can be machine washed on a cold, delicates cycle with a mild detergent and then laid flat on a towel to dry.
