About this piece

The heart motif, cut into the base and carried through to the thumb holder, gives this candlestick a warmth and personality that sets it apart from more utilitarian examples. Good antique condition. Natural brass patina consistent with age. Heart cutouts and thumb holder intact.

Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. Polish occasionally with a brass cleaner if desired, though the natural patina that develops with age is part of the piece’s character and many prefer to leave it. Keep dry between uses.
